The 1Florida Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (1Florida ADRC) supports investigators conducting clinical, cognitive, biomarker, neuroimaging, and translational research in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. As one of the NIA-funded ADRCs, 1Florida contributes data to the National Alzheimer’s Coordinating Center (NACC), the centralized national repository for all ADRC data across the United States. NACC harmonizes data from over 30 ADRCs, using standardized protocols and data structures that allow for cross-cohort research and large-scale collaborations.
Through this structure, the 1Florida ADRC offers access to participant data, biospecimens, imaging resources, and study documentation. This page provides an overview of available resources and how investigators can request access.

Available Data and Resources
The 1Florida ADRC maintains a comprehensive set of de-identified clinical, neuropsychological, biomarker, neuroimaging, and biospecimen data. Investigators can review our available data, data dictionary, imaging outputs, and biospecimen options before submitting a project/data request. Explore these materials to determine which data best support your research questions.
Requesting Data
Investigators may request quantitative datasets, neuroimaging files, or biospecimens through our structured project-review process. The steps differ depending on whether you are seeking a letter of support, submitting a new request or updating an existing approved request. This section outlines how to determine your request type and what materials you’ll need to proceed.

Author Responsibilities and NIH Compliance
All investigators using 1Florida ADRC data must follow NIH Public Access policies and include required grant citations in publications, presentations, and abstracts. This section details how to maintain compliance, how to notify the ADRC of publication updates, and how to accurately describe the ADRC dataset in manuscripts.
