All investigators using 1Florida ADRC data are required to:
- Include the NIH grant citation:
- “This research was supported by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) through the 1Florida Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (P30AG066506).”
- Ensure NIH Public Access Compliance by uploading final peer-reviewed manuscripts to PubMed Central (PMC) immediately upon publication confirmation.
- Notify the 1Florida ADRC via email (emilymatusz@ufl.edu) when:
- A manuscript using ADRC data is accepted, published, or presented
- A previously submitted manuscript changes journals or status
- A publication appears on PubMed but does not yet reflect PMC compliance
Why this matters: Our team monitors publication compliance as part of NIH reporting (RPPR).
These reviews aim to ensure that:
- All works using 1Florida ADRC data are properly cited
- PMC IDs are submitted
- Nothing appears “out of compliance” in NIH RePORTER or in our RPPR submissions
If your publication appears out of compliance, you will be contacted to ensure necessary updates are made.
Questions about compliance?
Please email emilymatusz@ufl.edu if you’re unsure how to properly cite the grant or notify us of a publication.

- Whether your data include Uniform Data Set (UDS) cognitive measures, neuroimaging, autopsy-confirmed diagnoses, etc.
- The inclusion/exclusion criteria and visits used (e.g., “participants with at least two UDS visits”)
